Professional Highlights:
Bronwen Landless, Ph.D., MT-BC, completed her Ph.D. (2022) in Creative Arts Therapies at Drexel University. She graduated with both her bachelor’s (2004) and master’s (2013) degrees in music therapy from Shenandoah University. Bronwen established and directed a music therapy program at a psychiatric residential treatment facility for children and adolescents from 2004 to 2015. Her clinical expertise includes a focus on trauma-informed care, facility-wide productions and community practices. As such, she has piloted a music therapy program at a local health clinic, providing people who experience marginalization with access to music therapy services. She has also collaborated with nursing faculty to develop interprofessional education (IPE) opportunities for psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and music therapy students. Bronwen has presented at various national and international conferences, including the American Music Therapy Association, World Congress of Music Therapy (Austria, 2014) and European Consortium of Arts Therapies Education (Poland, 2017). In alignment with her appreciation of global perspectives, she serves as the North America Regional Liaison for the World Federation of Music Therapy. Her dissertation research focus was to explore the impact of music therapy on people experiencing homelessness and their surrounding communities.
Personal Highlights:
Bronwen enjoys traveling and attending concerts with friends and family. Some of her most memorable adventures include skydiving, zip lining, and running half-marathons in five cities in two different countries (United States and South Africa).
