Conservatory Professional Highlights:
William Pierson has won two American College Theatre Festival Awards, for set design of White Rose of Munich and Translations. The Cleveland Critics Circle honored him for outstanding set design for Passion of Dracula; he was nominated for his design for One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.
His more than 170 design credits include scenic or lighting design for Shenandoah’s academic year productions as well as for Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre.
William Pierson has designed for the Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Maryland Arts Festival, Olney Theatre, and others in the midwest and in the Baltimore-Washington area.
